Halp! Installing Ubuntu 8.10 Server edition to a powerbookg4 (ppc). After inserting and booting off the ISO I come to the stage where we detect my CDROM drive.
Detecting hardware to find cd drives
No common cd drive was detected
Manualy detect and mount [Y]
Module needed for accesing CD-ROM
None
cdrom
Now it askes me for a device file to be used
/dev/cdrom...
If i swich to a terminal and ls /dev it just comes up with a bunch of tty's and some usb stuff
How can it not detect my cd drive when im using it to install. What do I need to do here.
