Hi.

I have just got 4GB ram extra for my machine so now i have 8GB of RAM, :D

So my question is (as your properly already now). is it possible to upgrade to Ubuntu 64bit from a 32bit installation?

Thanks.

I don't think that is possible to upgrade from x86 (i686) to x86_64. You have to reinstall.

No. It's not an "upgrade" it's a "different grade" -- you have to install the 64-bit architecture OS. :)
