LIve CD is askin gfor a username and password

I downloaded the livecd from the Ubuntu website and it's asking me for a username and password. Normally the login should work happen automatically.

Does anyone know the password?

I used a different cd on a different computer and have moved the hard disk over. Now when I start Ubuntu a beige screen comes up but no login prompt. Any ideas anyone?

Turns out the problem was due to Ubuntu trying to use Compiz. I stuck the hard disk back into the other computer, disabled compiz and transfered it back. Probably not the best way of disabling compiz but it worked and now my machine is running fine.

Next mission... to find and put some more memory in to improve the performance.
