Hi everyone,
My friends have skype and aim - what can I use to talk to them on video? I've been trying for days to work this out. (i can't get my camera to work with skype)
I'm an absolute beginner so i really need step by step instructions on what to do.
Cheers

In principle Skype should work (works for me) but you may have a compatibility problem with your web-cam.
I suggest you lets us know what make & model it is, and see if anyone has any feedback for you.

In skype can you please go to: Options
Once there please select the "Video Devices" tab. Then click the Test button.
Tell me what happens when you do this.

it may take some tweeks but i got mine running just last night.
To install Skype after setting up the Medibuntu Repository,
In a terminal type:
sudo apt-get install skype
hope that helps.
