My birthday is coming up soon, and I'm going to treat myself to a laptop. I'm looking for something with a decent processor, at least 2GB of RAM, a laptop with built in webcam and mic, at least a 200GB harddrive, built in wireless, and something I can burn DVDs with. I can't spend over 750 dollars. I'm not a gamer, so I'm not looking for high end specs. I'm more of a video editor and audio editor and a casual computer user.

Having said all this, what do you recommend for me? :)

You might be just squeezing in with $750, but have a look at some System76 Laptops (http://system76.com/index.php?cPath=28) and I would also have a look at some of Dell's notebooks, notably some of the Inspiron (http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=DNDWZA3&s=dhs)s. They have a great price for what you get.

You'd get excellent quality and more bang for the buck if you go with an HP laptop. Just about everything should work OOTB if you get one with an Intel processor and Intel wireless card.

I've bought 3 Toshiba laptops in the last four years (daughter, wife and myself). No problems with any of them and they run Ubuntu pretty much flawlessly.

This is the one I just bought. Seems like a good laptop.
