Heya all,

At the moment I have Windows Vista on my computer already installed on my first HD. I have a second HD thats free on the same computer. How can I install Ubuntu ultimate without screwing up Windows Vista...I want it to let me choose which OS to start when I turn the computer on...

I see tutorials but its usually for people who install Ubuntu first...but I have Vista first...if you can help or give a link I would appreciate it...thanks! Hope this is the right area...:P

Just boot from Ubuntu LiveCD and when you get to the partition part, tell the installer to use the second harddrive.

Wow that easy? And it will let me choose what OS to install on boot?

If so this is really great...

I also have a laptop with one hard drive...can I partition about 15GB and install Ubuntu on that partition? If so will it work the same way by letting me choose which OS on boot?:guitar:

THANKS,
