"Ignorant" isn't actually a direct insult, ignorance just refers to a lack of knowledge, not a character flaw. Since you didn't know quite how these forums operate, you were ignorant of it.

When people tell others "you're ignorant!" in anger, it's a nice little irony that they themselves are ignorant for not knowing what it really means. ^^
