You gave me a need to "troll" :D:
It's still ten times better than an avrage Gnome desktop :D

I had to let it out...

I upgraded to KDE 4.2 and can't even *get* to the desktop, so that screenshot is actually an improvement.

If you truly mean it, than thanks!

And to kidnap this thread a bit more, here is a special sneak peek of new
Gnome 3 interface, looks familiar:

Shhh. You're not supposed to let Gnome users know where their DE is going to be after another 5 years of "new theme" announcements ;)

Sorry I didn't know what kind of policies Gnome devs have :D
They can still pretend they never saw it :lolflag:

(Is it just me or this strayed in "troubled waters"?)

Really familiar. Looks like a KDE 3.5 clone. Sorry, I know this is getting nowhere, but I had to say it.

No more that some users feel that the only way to promote their DE they have to ridicule the other (yes that semi includes me).

But I wouldn't describe me as 100% KDE-fanboy, I can laugh at good joke about KDE. But this thread was silly from the begining I (probably) just made it a bit sillier :D.

I personally think that the default KDE look might be too blingy but that can be remedied by installing less busy theme (like my Bare Naked; self-promotion(tm)...

And I know that the update (mostly from KDE3) can break the system, but it can be fixed by deleting plasmarc and kwinrc or if that dosen't work the whole .kde folder. I "blame" for using .kde instead .kde4 that's probably breaking the GUI.

Now back to DE wars and flames!
