I just read an article about Open Source and usability. It's probably not the first article on the topic, but it used two software to illustrate the point, Joomla! and WordPress.

What do you guys think?

I find it really weird to see OS X somehow being associated with the KISS principle.

Not much else to say, though.

Usability. Both are open source projects, but they are vastly different when it comes to usability.

If you know php, mysql, ajax,js the you don't even need wordpress.

But there is a limit to pointless crap that people wish to learn. Wordpress fills the gap.

Wordpress is also my favorite.

It's just too easy not to use.
