Have Windows xp, Ubuntu but no GRUB

Ok I have Windows XP pro 32bit. I have Ubuntu 8.10 and I did a reinstall of windows and the way I did it the Linux partition was left alone. I just need to get to the post here that shows how to get GRUB back so I can get back into my Linux partition w/o reinstalling and haivng to battle with all those drivers and things like that.

I would love it if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I tried that twice...still no go. THere was one I found on here that has worked before but I can't for the life of me find it
