I got all excited when I saw this thread title only to find that it had been locked.

I was hoping someone had finally developed a new slack distro (Screw Linux) that would work well in in-bedded applications...

:P I kill myself...ha ha

Sounds promising. I hate dealing with the nuts and bolts of ordinary distros.

Well that shouldn't be hard since it can already run on a potato (http://www.bbspot.com/News/2008/12/linux-on-a-potato.html) :)

Not when you have to compile a custom kernel because the current one doesn't support 64 giga-'bites' of RAM. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was because because the KP dump was all full of garbage and other random symptoms (wireless sniffer not working, etc):lolflag:

I crack myself up.

Install Windows on your car and:
It always breaks down.
You need a V10 for a 1 person size car
Unwanted people are always getting in your car and making it slow and stealing your stuff.
You have to buy a new one every few years.
It comes with a radio but the radio station has to be in Windows Car Radio Access Protocol (Windows CRAP)
Unwanted people are always getting in your car and making slow and stealing your information.

I once studied with a WISE Computer Sinsei of Linux, this thread recalls one conversation:

Sinsei, There are these Windows Users. Do they not have a Light of their own to be sought and understood?

Grasshopper, You must know that Computers............

................. are...............

.......as Air Conditioners

...Young Grasshopper Skripka contemplates this thought for a moment.....

Air-Conditioners, Master?

Yes, Grasshopper. For. BOTH. Cease functioning.....

When you open Windows.

Sorry, but it looks like the VuDu kit contains too much proprietary code.

The reanimated badger could end up spying on me...
