So I have Ubuntu Studio 7.04 on here, and am having all sorts of difficulties.

It started when I tried to install k3b, and I refreshed synaptic, which gave me the following errors:

Also, alot of the programs listed in there return some error similar to:
"Xfburn cannot be installed on your computer type (i386). Either the application requires special hardware features or the vendor decided to not support your computer type."

and when trying to run ./configure from the extracted k3b folder, I get:

What's going on here? I am a bit befuddled, my repositories are turned on, but I keep getting errors that make it seem like my acess is being restricted somehow (I remember seing ALOT more available apps when I installed regular Ubuntu).

Feisty is not supported anymore and that is why you are geting that kind of messages. You can upgrade to Gutsy but that will be just until April.Froo April gutsy will not be supported.Other solution is t ofresh install Hardy (because is Long Term Support)or you can go for Itrepid. In both cases make separate home if you donīt have one. Here (http://psychocats.s465.sureserver.com/ubuntu/separatehome) is guide.

Thanks, sounds like it would just be easier for me to re-install at this point.
