Greetings fellow South Carolina LoCo members!
As you are aware, we're trying to get release parties set up to coincide with the April 23rd release of Ubuntu 9.04 - Jaunty Jackalope.
We're spread out all over the place, so we need to start looking at actual numbers of people who plan to get together and where.
This is an informal affair in which we get together and raise a glass to the latest release. It's preferable that you have CD's to hand out to anyone that wants them, and please record who was there so we can document your release party on our web site. This is a BYOB event, (where the first B is for Buy or Bring depending on where you're meeting) and all are encouraged to attend.
The release party for the Myrtle Beach area will be held at Handley's Pub (http://www.handleyspub.com/) in the Carolina Forest area on Saturday April 25th at 7:30 PM. Please contact me if you need directions.
Do we have parties scheduled for other areas?
Greenville?
Columbia?
Charleston?
Other?
If so, please post details to this thread. Also, if you plan on attending one of the release parties please reply to this thread to let us know. I'd prefer not to be a party of one at Handley's on April 25th. :P
