Hello,
I'm somewhat new to Ubuntu. I cannot get Ubuntu to use any kind of GUI. I had to do the installation with text prompts and I have to launch to a command prompt. If I try and use any kind of GUI the computer doesn't send a signal the monitor and it just sits there doing the no signal thing. I was using Fedora prior to this and had a similar problem with installation but I cannot remember what I did to fix the problem.
