Hi, I have made a few posts about errors that I get with Ubuntu not loading and always dropping to a shell with (initramfs). Now I want to just remove Ubuntu from my system, which also has Vista. I thought I could just reformat the partition that Ubuntu is on but when I did that, the computer won't boot at all. I think because the Grub bootloader is in the same partition as Vista so it looks for that first? Not sure but to get around this I reinstalled Ubuntu so I could get back into Vista. Any suggestions on how I can completely remove Ubuntu and not have any issues? Do I have to reformat the Vista partition as well? Thanks.
-would be great if Ubuntu would just work on my computer :(

Do you have windows bootable CD that you can boot your machine with? If not, you can use Super GRUB Disk to remove GRUB from MBR.
