Hi, everybody,
I am encountering a weird phenomena of my laptop with usb storage devices.
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and everything was fine until recently my system doesn't recognize my usb storage devices for the first time.
by 'for the first time', I mean my system can't detect my usb storage devices during the first time boot. But after I log out and log in again, the devices can be recognized automatically.
This weird thing applies to my flash disk (8G) and external hard disk (160G). But my usb mouse just works more than normally.
Another thing is that the file copying to my usb storage devices is very weird too, the copying will start as normal but pause at about 50~60M, and it will go in 'copy and pause' mode since, which makes the copying very slow and annoying.
