View Full Version : Inspiron 9300 screen is going again

I got in in May 2005, still my main computer...

In Fall of 2006, colored vertical lines began to appear on the screen. We got the screen replaced. It soon happened again. The screen was replaced thrice before they finally said it was the motherboard and replaced that in the Srping of 2007 and it's been fine ever since.

Now they're back...:( a green line running vertically in the middle of the screen. Isn't visible on gray or white though.

It'd probably be cheaper to buy a new Laptop than get that one reapired as the parts are probably scarce or nonexistent.

It would be 400 dollars to replace, according to Dell. Ridiculous. They knew these had a problem, it should be free.
