Help with LAMP!!! Plz :D

Hello Guys and Girlz.

I installed LAMP yesterday (Php5 + Mysql 5 on ubuntu 8.10 desktop) and it all worked fine, i could access PhpMyAdmin and create databases and all that. It would also show all my .php files correctly that i copied into var/www. Well today i took my laptop to work and boomm!!! php files dont show up in my browser anymore. I just see a firefox message telling me im in Offline mode!! Apache is running because when I type in http://localhost i see "it work's" (I have also restarted Apache several times). I have also restarted MySql 5x. Any Ideas??? Please bare in Mind im new to Ubuntu so dont get to technical :D.

Are you sure you haven't accidentally moved your browser into offline mode?

Firefox menubar->File->Work Offline

If it's checked, toggle yourself back to online mode.
