Apparently it's successful with something, as it's letting me boot and connect to the Internet.

A bit of an upgrade from Hardy Heron installed via Wubi; I'm pleased to say that I successfully installed off of a burned-ISO download. (hey, a legit use of BitTorrent. :P)
I nuked the Vista partition; can't say I'll miss it much. :)
