I am almost positive that I am putting in my dang password correctly in my new smartphone, but I haven't had to add a wireless device in over a year. It is not connecting properly. I have the long (hashed?) password, but it will be a real pain to type it in to the device. Is there any way to get the short pass from it? Some sort of translator perhaps? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree and missing something?

Um, if you could get in with a shorter key, then it would be more suceptible to brute force attacks. I like to change passwords to quotes or poetry lines. Just change it to something you can remember.
