Twitter client that filters

Hi,

I am looking for a Twitter client that will filter so that I can put certain people on a "VIP" list of sorts, so I never miss any of their Tweets. I know TweetDeck does this, but I can't get AIR to work on my system (64 bits).

Any suggestions?

i'm not a big fan of the whole twitter-hype, but that's another story..

have you tried the twitter plugin for pidgin?
