Can anyone explain me the process of installing PHP and apache from source??
I have downloaded the tar.bz2 files of both from their sites and I suppose these are the source files.
Iam quite a newbie to Linux and want to learn more about its internal operations.I know i can install these from synaptic,but,out of curiosity,just wanted to learn more about manual installation of packages.
