my media players like vlc and mplayer player started behaving strangely from yesterday.the moment i launch them,the display brightness decreases.i cannotunderstand why an application affects another completely different one.its very irritating to repeatedly set the brightness.is there a solution to this?it happened after i installed gparted software from the terminal.can this trigger the malfunction?
