Absoulte newB here. Trying to install 8.10 from LiveCD. same disk that installed Ubuntu perfectly on another machine. On this machine (Averatec 3200 laptop) it boots from CD, gets progress bar then black screen with blinking underline curser, then into a text screen talking about free software, no warranty, to access official documentation... then ubuntu@ubuntu:~$
