):P hi every one i am new to ubuntu is there a book or mag that i can read that can help to work out how to use ubuntu. i am in the uk an read about it from the mag computeractive. i am using a old ibm thinkpad i crawled with w2000 but goes like zepp with ubuntu. :p

Yes. Ubuntu has many books. I was at the book store the other day and I found many books in using and installing Ubuntu. IT ALSO COMES WITH A CD!

or you can just go to BORDERS or Barnes & Nobel and buy a book with a FREE CD! WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Another good source of info is Full Circle Magazine (http://fullcirclemagazine.org/) and Linux Format magazine which is available in the shops (website here (http://www.linuxformat.co.uk/)).
