Apparently the Drivers for my Wireless are proprietary and of course Ubuntu doesn't come with them and getting established to a phyiscal connection can be quiet troublesome sense wireless is whats really all available for me, so i want setup a custom Ubuntu 8.10 CD and simply add them. Could someone guide me into doing this, never done it before?

*I should probably note i want the drivers used in Live CD as well as having them installed.*

Check here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomization it might get you started in the direction you are wanting to go.

Its not the link itself that concerns me.. Would it be possible to copy the Ubuntu onto drive as a iso, edit it, then reburn as a basic iso and it still boot, run liveCD, and install properly?

Follow the help link provided. I have not tried what you are wanting. I would like to do that but just have not taken the time to pursue it.

oh. I am not sure i can follow the directions as is on winXP. O.o

Nevermind I was just enlighten to the fact the STA drivers are already install on 8.10 by default and just need to be activated x.x ... I had been under the imprison that the system knew it had to have them but had to download them. (Mind poison from hardy prehaps?) Anywho thanks for trying anyway :)
