Hello,

I was interested in using more screen real estate and installed maximus and the window-picker-applet. It works great but i was wondering if i could configure maximus to only maximize vertically and not horizontally (with the windows undecorated). i like to keep my conky viewable at all times (kind of like vista's sidebar but infinitely better).

Is there a way to do this?
thank you

hmm i guess not too many people use the ubuntu-netbook-remix packages... is there another forum i should be using?

I've found the same thing. I'm trying to use a wiimote as a main controller for ubuntu. this means maximus is being used to make all the windows well, maximised! Its a pain though. it even maximises things that are designed to be small, like the file transfer window type thing.

Any idea how to make maximus selective about which windows it maximises?

Cheers, Rob
