"Initializing the root folders to display."

Then the 45 second wait.

I hate it but I am stuck with it.
If only all my software could be Linux.

Is this thread meant to be a 'meaningless message' competition? The OP is winning so far.

I once had a "Error: the operation completed successfully" in Windows.

While using SQL server I got an error that said something like:

Syntax error on line 20

but it was on line 76 or something like that. Very annoying.

Has something to do with losing connection to the network, I got it when I accidentally unplugged my ethernet... Message didn't help at all though.

Dude! I've seen this before too. I had to look at it like two more times saying "...What?"

If that's real it has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

When you install ubuntu-restricted-extras there's a eula for java and at the end there's one ticker that says "Do you agree" instead of a choice of yes, or no, so by clicking it your not agreeing to any thing really, more like your asking the question.

I think it's scary as hell.

Imagine one of the guys responsible for the nuclear weapons coming to you and saying "Hmm... sir? You know that button we should never press? Well... uh..."

{After clicking configure network}

I'd expect to see something like this in Windows, but Ubuntu....???
