View Full Version : [gnome] Can't type in GDM on first load

The first time GDM runs after a boot/reboot my keypresses aren't registered in the username field.

I can switch to a different tty, text login, restart GDM and all is fine.

Any ideas what that's about?!

This is getting worse. I have to wait for init scripts to finish now (I can see oracle still starting up, having installed that recently) before restarting GDM works and I can type.

Please, someone must have an idea on how I can fix this?!
