I played around with ubuntu a little bit awhile ago on my old Dell laptop. I would like to try and put it on my desktop but its a pc/tv media center system. 4 GBS of ram, its a Sony LT29U model. Anyway I'm about to get satellite hooked up. But before I put Ubuntu on it will I still be able to use my ATI TV WONDER CABLE TUNER? Also is there a software that will let you use some windows programs, like photoshop? If not no big deal. I really hate vista, it runs slow, and its loud when I play a dvd. Also its bluray, will that mess up?
