I would like to install apache2 on ubuntu 6.06, so, like every other install of apache I've ever done, I used the command..

sudo apt-get install apache2

and this gives me...

Reading package lists... Done

The following NEW packages will be installed
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 40 not upgraded.
Need to get 36.2kB of archives.
After unpacking 81.9kB of additional disk space will be used.
Get: 1 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com dapper-updates/main apache2 2.0.55-4ubuntu2.3 [36.2kB]

Clearly, this isn't right and there's no sign of the expected /etc/apache2 directory.

I did some searching around and read that apt-get clean might help, but it doesn't. Clearly my lil bain is missing something here, so any help with getting apache2 installed would be great, thanks :)
