View Full Version : [ubuntu] cant resize or move desktop windows

jaunty 9.04 on hp-lptp

hi friends.
When i hit any kind of icon or i open terminal commander ,
windows are opening maximized in full screen.
I dont see the minimize-max-close icons above right and so
i cant resize or move them.

When i resize them from the panel icon and doing them smaller
i cant move them. i thing i've damaged something . :(

anyone could help me ??

I don't know about Jaunty, but in Ibex, if you hit F11 twice, the title bar will reappear, then manually minimize the window, close it, reopen it, and then maximize with the max button, should fix things. :p

I'm running 8.04 on an HP laptop, and I have this problem occasionally. Reloading the window manager seems to do the trick. I keep the Compiz Fusion icon in my panel where I can launch it and quickly reload the window manager as needed.
