Lexmark z705 printer | Black ink problems

Hello to everyone, (I'm new to Ubuntu by the way, so be patient ;)). I have a lexmark z705 printer but installing a good driver has been a problem. I followed the instructions posted here:

Everything seemed fine, installation succeeded. (However I must point out that on step 12, when I tried to install the Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd.gz driver, i got an error: "there was an error during the CUPS operation: 'server-error-internal-error'". So I installed the .ppd file that was in the same folder: Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd instead and it worked)

Well so that seemed to go fine but then I noticed that in all my printings the black-ink would print exactly .5 inches to the left in respect to the desired postion. The color-ink printed just fine. Is there anyway I can fix this? Can I edit the .ppd driver file so that the black ink prints .5 inches more to the right?

Another solution I thought of was installing this other driver (http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko12479/) and trying it out. But after following the steps in their website, I would get a printing error every time I tried to print something.

OK I fixed it!!
I was reading through the stuff in (http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko12479/) and noticed that they mentioned that to fix "the problem with color shades on black text" which I'm thinking is the problem I had, I had to edit my .ppd driver file so that everywhere that it says CMYK, I should change it to CMY. Im not exactly sure how that fixes it, but it does the work.

It's been a while since I started this thread and affirmed the problem to be solved. The CMY setting actually tells the printer to use the cyan magenta and yellow inks to do the whole work and it does not uses the shifted black ink (yes, it prints black with the color inks). The black ink, therefore, continues to be shifted slightly to the right. :/

If anybody knows how to edit .ppd driver files and fix the black ink into place please post here :) Thanks. I will post my current .ppd file for reference.

Also, is it possible to simply just add an option at Administration>Printing>(right-click printer>Properties)>Job Options(bottom) that fixes it?
