At least that's what my wife calls IE,
I laughed pretty hard the first time she said it. :p

I used to use IE as an Firefox installer.
Nowadays I just download the installer and put it on the Windows partition from Linux.

I tried to do that for a friend once. IE crashed during the download though, so I had to download the installer from a different computer and bring it over.

Thanx, I hoped it would put a smile on somebodys face. ;)

I think she was fixing something for her sister, on her new laptop, I had to hear her complain about how slow and annoying Vista is for half an hour afterwards. Even on a pretty powerful Intel core 2 duo 4 gig with Geforce 8800 graphics.

Well even if it is the FireFox installer of choice, it's still an MS app. :p

That's what I use it for. On Win2k (with IE5 typically), half the time it crashes before it finishes downloading :-P

That's pretty much what I use IE for.
Besides troubleshooting for those in my family who haven't been enlightened yet... Ugh.
