I don't want to just run it; I want to install it. But I have no disks, I do, however, have a flash drive. And how do I go about doing this?

Not necessarly without a trouble, but it is possible to put Linux/OS on a flash drive. So I think the most should be possible. I don't tried all the distros. Also more and more distro will give a version wich is performed for flash drive.

I installed 8.10 using Wubi from a USB memory stick. I have an HP tablet with no CD/DVD and it won't boot from USB so that's why I used Wubi. But it works great and I boot right in to Ubuntu from the boot manager without having to boot Windows first.

Just use a LiveCD to create a LiveUSB install, plug it in and install. Even better if yours will boot from USB.
