windows 7 beta will kubuntu install on it, i have installed it 3 times but at start up i do not get windows or kubuntu to press, it boots straight to windows

sounds like MS contermeasures to me hehehe
I may be wrong here but, I would think something is going wrong with the grub install, it should overwrite the MBR, regardless of the previous OS.

It is a known issue,windows 7 kills the grub,it is talked a lot, just search the forums you will find solutions.
