I had been using hardy just fine.
After upgrading to intrepid, issuing svn commands results in the following.
svn: OPTIONS of 'https://<my server>/svn/branches/<my branch>/<my project>': SSL negotiation failed: SSL alert received: Decrypt error (https://<my server>)
It might be worth noting that eclipse still works, as well as subcommander.
