Not a techie- I just installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my laptop and when I boot up it takes me through the user/password screens,then freeze up, it is showing a blank brownish Ubuntu screen, my mouse seems to work but nothing else. Any thoughts? - configuration of my dell?
