This is the very latest newbie in the Ubuntu Forums ;-). Hi there all.
I'm not really a newbie, as I'm already experienced in Slackware, Gentoo and NetBSD, but Ubuntu is a newcomer onboard my laptop - and it works wonderfully out the box. I had already tried Ubuntu 4.10 on a LiveCD, but never thought how many improvements you could have been done in such a short time. Thanks.
Hoping to be as useful as possible (especially in console-related system administration). I wish you all a merry Christmas/Hanukah/life.
