Hi guys,

I would like some information on how we can install stuff without the use of an internet connection. Stuff like mp3 codecs or video codecs, maybe vlc players, and some other stuff. Is there a website or way I can download it on another computer with an internet connection and then install it on the computer which doesn't have an internet connection? Thanks.

AptonCd is a nice application. Thanks man. I'll try to install the files on an offline computer.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of burning CDs and want to use your flash drive, check out my new project Keryx (http://keryxproject.org).

I like this project, however, how do I set it up? It's in .bz2 format.

You need to extract it first. Just follow this tutorial and it can help you through it from start to finish: http://crashsystems.net/2009/01/keryx-tutorial/

You will need to make sure you use "python keryx.py --create <project name> debian" to create the project as syntax has changed in 0.92 (which the tutorial wasn't written for originally). Everything else in the tutorial should be fine, and I notifed him to update the tutorial as well. If you have any other questions just let me know.
