I was trying to compile plugin for Firefox, but i didn't make it...
Could someone pliz tell me how to compile a file (which files have to be compiled)? What do I need to compile?

Don't compile firefox.Do you want firefox 1.0? Use backport repository.

Don't compile firefox.Do you want firefox 1.0? Use backport repository.

Alessio, look closer, he's not compiling firefox, he's compiling a plugin for it.

What plugin do you need konan? I would suggest adding universe and multiverse to synaptic, then doing a search for "firefox" (without " of course) and set the fields int he little search dialog to "name and description." That should show you all firefox related stuff, including plugins, in easy to install deb form that are on the ubuntu servers.

Also read the http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/RestrictedFormats if you feel like it, it has some good info on stuff like flash etc.
