On my Ubuntu 8.10 I have added a TV tuner card on a PCI device but now at boot I get multiple messages of this form:

usb 5-7 device not accepting address 5. error -110

hub 5-0: 1.0 unable to enumerate USB device on port 7

and the USB keyboard and mouse are now very very slow! I can't even connect my USB stick (it doesn't get recognised at all)

USB devices are however unchanged; just 1 internal USB hub has been moved to another PCI slot in order to fit the TV tuner card at a good place.

What can I do? Can I reconfigure USB devices?

Note: lsusb produces twice the same keyboard!
