I just recently installed 8.10 as a dual boot setup. Each OS is on a separate HD. The OS installed fine and everything boots without error. I've run fsck, etc.. with no errors. My problem in once I get to the X login prompt I enter my credentials and X starts like it's going to load and then everything stops. I can tell my drive isn't spinning anymore. I still get mouse and keyboard response but all I have is a tan background. I can tell by the login that the resolution is at a nice setting. Has anyone dealt with this?
