I just installed 8.10 instead of the 7.04 I had been using without any problem. The installation went OK, and everything I tried seemed to work fine.
But when I take the PC to another room, and use it with a different monitor (I've tried two, one CRT, and one LCD), I have display problems, one of which is that the terminal window appears as a blank box.
Any suggestions please? :(
