hi everyone
Im a new Ubuntu user, and find it verry exiting to use:KS
Im using Firefox as my browser, but I cannot log into my online bank account, I get to the site where we have userID and login, but I cannot search for userID, thereby not being able to login to the account.
Everything is installed to use the account,
I do hope someone know howto
the bank Im using is www.danskebank.dk
this is the only thing holding me from deleting winshaft from my pc

try opera browser, which you can install easily via automatix.

Not sure what the problem is, I get to the logon part no problem with Firefox. I don't speak German though.
There is a log-on drop down menu in the upper left hand corner

Thats correct, on the user ID, there normally is a search for the ID, but I cant get it to come up
By the way Im danish

try opera browser, which you can install easily via automatix.
Sorry m8 Opera Browser could not open that key either for the ID search :(

Ill explain whats missing.......................
goto www.danskebank.dk
on the left u find Logon which is a rool down
press Danske Netbank
then on the right there will be a Blue and grey box with
bruger-id = User ID and below
Adgangskode = Entry Code
there is no search for the User ID
when I was using IE it was there
my user ID is coming from a CD, so I require thats search
Hope this help to understand the issue

You can also try installing Internet Explorer with Wine. Check out this thread:

Have you talked to your bank about this? My bank had firefox trouble and I spoke to my branch manager, he contacted the head office, and a couple of months later they had fixed it (and thanked me for pointing it out!).

I belive In a clean Ubuntu, so I would not use wine to get explorer, thx anyway

Have you talked to your bank about this? My bank had firefox trouble and I spoke to my branch manager, he contacted the head office, and a couple of months later they had fixed it (and thanked me for pointing it out!).
i had the same ....talked to my bank , and some 2 months later it was solved .

Change to Nordea, babwe. The Net-bank of Nordea works with both firefox, epiphany and opera ;).

Got the same result with DanskeBank. So the fault is the bank. Be a goo idea to contact them.

Thanks for that One Ive been In contact with Danske Bank, verry helpfull, but they cant assist to get my banking going, So next steep is to Change to Nordea :)

The serch alternative u had in IE was probalbly Auto completion function in IE maybe?
