Hi,
I recently tried to install a new ATI driver onto my Ubuntu install. Worked fine, but it had a black bar on the left hand side. So I tried to change the screen resolution to fit my screen (I have dual screen, which wasn't working which was why i updated my driver).
So it all started moving up and down my screen. I restarted, entered Ubuntu (I have dual boot with XP) and I just get a multi-coloured screen of death.
Is there a way to reset Ubuntu to it's defaults? Or is there any other reason you could think of that has caused this problem. Not I can't enter Ubuntu graphically at all :(
Thanks
