LiveCD on a Hard Drive instead of a CD

Can someone help me find instructions on how to install the LiveCD ISO on a partition of my hard drive so I can see what Jaunty will be like without using a blank CD.

I just don't want to waste my CDs.

install qemu it will let you run the live cd image without having to partition your disk.this is what i usually do to try out different installations.it will run a bit slower but it will let you have alook at jaunty
