delete entries from the application-menue

Hi there

I'm using ununtu 8.10. I just uninstalled wine. The uninstall-process seemed to have worked correct since when I now type in terminal:
sudo apt-get remove wine
It says: Package wine is not installed, so not removed

However the wine-entry in the application menue is still there - a dead link I suppose. So here is my question:

How can I manually delete entries from the application-menue?
