I installed 8.10 using the Xubuntu desktop CD, retaining old /home partition from Xubuntu 7.10. I chose to import user accounts from the old /home, but at least for the second account, the import was not successful: The home directory of the second account was there, but I could not see the account in System > Users and Groups, nor could I login using the old user name and password. (I made the main account by same name as the respective old existing account and it worked fine and uses the old home directory.) Anybody else has had such problems?
