So I just downloaded Ubuntu MID, having nothing better to do on a weekend. Just wondering, I got it on a USB stick and got it booted on my EEEPC, but it doesn't boot into a desktop or anything. I tried to start the desktop manually, but it can't seem to find anything. So this is mostly the process of it loading:
Loads the os, gives me the Ubuntu loading screen with the orange bar going back and forth. Then goes back to command line view with the following:
BusyBox v1.10.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.10.2-iubuntu6) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
(initramfs) _
So, just wondering what to do next. It says at start up that this is a live CD...so I figured it would boot up into a Ubuntu desktop.
I have been looking around google for a while now, I figured I post here hoping to find some help!
Thanks,
goblin
